Getting Started
You will require having available:
PC or PLC with either a RS422 or RS485 communication port;
RS232 to RS422/485 converter - necessary if it is intended to use communication driven from the master which has only
a RS232 port available;
Interconnecting cabling - confirm that all of the relevant pins are in use - check against the wiring diagram that follows
this section;
A load cell with test weights, OR a load cell simulator;
A DC power supply capable of delivering 12-24 VDC. Current capacity dependent on the number of device and the
number of load cells to be connected. (One device plus one load cell requires less than 250 mA);
One or more EZE30;
A suitable ASCII communication software (HyperTerminal etc)
