Trigger Setup
Trigger Holdoff
Adjust holdof
f to obtain stable triggering
when the oscilloscope is triggering on
undesired trigger events.
Trigger holdo
ff can help stabilize triggering,
since the oscilloscope does not recognize
new triggers during the holdoff time. When
the oscillos
cope recognizes a trigger event,
it disables the trigger system until acquisition
is complete. In addition, the trigger system
remains dis
abled during the holdoff period
that follows each acquisition.

Trigger Coupling
Trigger coupling determines what part of the signal is passed to the trigger circuit. Edge triggering c an use all available
coupling types: DC, Low Frequency R ejection, High Frequency Rejection, and Noise Rejection. All other trigger types
use DC coupling only.
The c utoff frequency for low frequency rejection is 65 kHz. The cutoff frequency for high frequency rejection is 85 kHz.
Horizontal Position
When Delay Mode is on, use horizontal
position to acquire waveform detail in a
region that is separated from the trigger
location by a significant interval of time.
