The
change
in
load
current
thus
generated
restores
the
regulator
output
to
a
nominal
+5.05
V.
This
maintains
+5
V
on
the
circuit
boards
,
allowing
for
a
small
voltage
drop
across
the
connectors
.
Resistors
R1411
and
R1424
connect
the
+5
V
and
ground
lines
to
the
+5
V
sense
and
return
lines
in
the
event
that
the
board
is
operated
while
removed
from
the
Interconnect
board
.
If
such
occurs
,
the
output
voltage
rises

gized
power
module
.
If
such
occurred
,
the
amplifier
would
attempt
to
draw
the
entire
supply
current
through
Q1511
,
which
would
likely
exceed
its
capacity
.
