NOTE. Pea
k Detect and Hi Res modes take advantage of sample points that the oscilloscope would have discarded at lower
sweep speeds. Therefore, these modes only w ork when the current sample rate is less than the maximum possible sample
rate. As soon as the oscilloscope starts to acquire at the max imum sample rate, then the Peak Detect, H i Res and Sample
modes all
look the same. You can control the sample rate by setting the Horizontal scale and the Record Length.

5. Push Record Length.
6. Scroll through the available choices.
Choose among 1000, 10 k, 100 k, 1 M, 5 M,
and 10 M points.
