Instructions for Behnke SIP 2.0
Introduction
Minimum requirements to install Behnke's IP
video software:

PC with Intel
®
Pentium
®
IV processor (1.7GHz)
or AMD Athlon™ Processor (1.2GHz) or better

Network interface controller, configured
▸
Microsoft

Windows

2000 or
Windows

XP operating system or later
▸
128 MB RAM or more
▸
Monitor/graphics with a resolution of at least
800 x 600 pixels and true colour display
Requirements to use the app functionality:

Smartphone or tablet with iOS 10 or later or
Android 7 or later
▸
The app “TC Behnke” from the Apple
AppStore or Google Play respectively (the
app must remain an active process in the
background of your smartphone/tablet)
▸
WiFi
▸
DHCP server (to connect the smartphone to
your local WiFi)
▸
To use the app, you will need an active inter-
net connection (minimum speed DSL 2000).
When using the app via a mobile connection,
please ensure that your mobile phone plan
includes a sufficiently large data package.
Audio and Video quality of the call depends
on the used hardware (i.e. Smartphone or
Tablet). Due to the diversity of available devices
and their different characteristics we cannot
guarantee a flawless audio quality using the
Behnke App. Please keep in mind that there are
different operating systems in different versions
and implementations.
Each of these versions uses specific energy
saving functions so that we cannot guarantee
a permanent and uninterrupted functionality
of the TC Behnke SIP App. Therefore we always
recommend the usage of additional wired
devices like SIP phones or touch panels, etc.
when using the Behnke App.
Please keep also in mind that this system
works with push notifications forwarded and
processed by network components and internet
services. Since we don’t have an influence on
these components and services, we cannot
guarantee that you will receive the push noti-
fications in real-time. If a service on provider
side is shut down we cannot guarantee the
functionality of the app.
Please note the following features when
installing and setting up your Behnke SIP door
intercom station:

Possible stand alone operation, device
supports direct IP dialling. Please note: The
selected remote station should also support
these features! Please contact the manufac-
turer of your remote station for additional
information.
