3. Configure network settings
3.1. Change IP settings
1. Click the Menu button and click the Network menu item. You can configure the following
settings:
• Static: in this mode the IP address and
subnet mask are fixed and must be
inserted into the appropriate fields.
• DHCP: DHCP (Dynamic Host
Configuration Protocol) is a protocol
used by the WCAP to automatically
obtain the parameters necessary for
operation in an IP network. This
reduces system administration
workload, allowing the WCAP to be
added to the network with little or no
manual configuration.
