5.4. Start Up
1. Plug the MultiTech Board on the generic EVB and insert the WE866Cx M2 adapter
and power it ON.

2. Connect the one end of the USB3.0 Micro-B port in EVK and other end to the USB
port to your PC. This USB connection is used for establishing a UART
communication to a PC over a virtual COM port.
3. Connect the power supply cable to generic EVB [6-15 V]. The two (DBG1 and
D1000) Orange LED’s glows on the MTB, this indicate that the power supply is
good for MTB to run.
4. Press and hold the ON/OFF button [6] on the EVB for 1 seconds and release it,
you will see DBG1 [1] and DBG2[3] starts blinking. On successful boot “SW RDY”
[4] (Orange LED) and STAT [5] (Red LED) will glow on EVB.
