Also, check for a loose or damaged vacuum hose and secure or replace it. Make sure the tank cover is completely closed and that there are no obstructions. Finally, inspect the seals on the recovery tank and replace them if torn or damaged. Debris caught on the squeegee can also cause this issue; remove any debris you find.
