Why is my Tennant Scrubber not picking up water?

  Poor water pickup in your Tennant Scrubber can occur due to several reasons. The recovery tank might be full and needs draining. Check for a loose drain hose cap and tighten it. The float shut-off screen in the recovery tank or the squeegee assembly might be clogged and require cleaning. Inspect the squeegee blades for wear and replace or rotate them if needed. Ensure correct squeegee blade deflection by adjusting the blade height. Secure any loose vacuum hose connections and remove any debris clogging the vacuum hose. If the vacuum hose is damaged, replace it. Make sure the recovery tank cover is properly positioned and replace the seal if damaged. Finally, low battery charge can cause this issue, so recharge the batteries.

  Little to no solution flow in your Tennant Scrubber may be due to a clogged solution tank filter or solution hose; clean the filter or flush the hose. A clogged solution valve can also be the culprit; remove and clean the valve. Check the solution flow control knob; it may be set too low, so adjust it. Also, check for a loose screw on the control knob; calibrate the knob and retighten the screw.

  If the brush motor on your Tennant Scrubber won't operate, ensure the scrub head is lowered to the floor. If it is, check if the brush motor circuit breaker has tripped and reset it if necessary. For a faulty scrub head switch, control handle triggers, brush motor, wiring, or worn carbon brushes, it is recommended to contact Service Center.

  If the vacuum motor on your Tennant Scrubber won't operate, make sure the squeegee is lowered to the floor. If it is, check the vacuum motor fuse and replace it if blown (25 Amp fuse). For a faulty vacuum motor or wiring, or worn carbon brushes, it is recommended to contact Service Center.
