Phase adjustment
When an external signal is being fed the flash-
light transmitter starts to flash simultaneously.
The marking applied to a rotating cylinder or
any other striking position can be outside the
area being flashed. A judgement as to whether
the image is sharp or not is impossible without
a marking.
By using phase adjustment the starting time of
the flashlight transmitter can be adjusted so
that the cylinder rotates in small steps in the
stationary image and the marking ”wanders” in
the area being flashed.
This phase correction can be carried out in
both directions in steps of 3°.
To do this press the keys <higher> or <lower>.
If phase correction is used (setting is not 0°) the
current phase correction (0-360 °) is shown in
place of the frequency.
The pre-divider and phase correction can be
also used together.
