Life of rechargeable batteries
A rechargeable battery which is charged to 90% and
maximum flashlight frequency has a life of 35 minutes.
If you are working with the set frequency the life
increases to approx. 1.5 hours.
These are average values. The rechargeable battery
data can differ depending on storage conditions and
the production lot.
Checking the charge level
If the rechargeable battery voltage goes below 6.9 V, a
warning signal "Bat" appears in the top display field.
The remaining capacity of the rechargeable battery
lasts for another 4-5 minutes. If the battery voltage
goes below 5.7 V the instrument is automatically swit-
ched off (to prevent total discharge).
Charging the rechargeable batteries
To recharge you only have attach your mains unit.
Charging occurs in an instrument which is switched off
and also during operation. By checking the cell voltage
and cell temperature a quick and problem-free char-
ging is possible. If you have to carry out urgent, bat-
tery-operated measurements you can have short
emergency operation already after 1 to 2 hours of par-
tial charging.
