Editing programs
HD. JfT I— Single Step and Beck Step Keys
In the team mode, the SST and BST k eys e nable you to view the program
steps without affecting the program The SSf koy moves forward one step
in the program ; the B$T key moves beck one stop in the program When
I SST reaches the end ol a program, it "wraps wound" to the beginning .
similarly, when BST ) roaches the beginning of a program, it wraps around to
the end
Outside the team mode, (SST executes a single program step. Pressing
BST outside the learn mode causes an error
The calculator has an "automatic" Insert feature In learn mode, arty key
press Is automatically interpreted as a new program slop to be inserted,
rather than replacing the loltowing step
To Insert a program step, use I SST/] and B ST to position the proof am at
the step immediately preceding the desired location and enter the keystroke
to be inserted All codes following the one currently displayed are shitted back
one step to create e space lor the entered key. and the keycode is inserted
Into the program
2nd [Del] — Delete Program Step Key Sequence
The 2nd (Del) key sequence deletes the program step that is currently
displayed All keystroke codes following the one currently displayed are
shifted forward one step to fill the space vacated by the code you delete
The 2nd [Dell key sequence has an "automatic backstop- feature When
you press P2nd [Oel] to delete a program step, the step Is deleted and
then the previous stop Is displayed
Example : to delete a GFJ that is currently in step 02. press MT until
PC02 OP85 appears in the display then press 2nd 1 [Del] The i + j la
deleted, and the following keystrokes all move up one step After step 02 is
deleted, the previous step (step 01) Is displayed
