Turn
the
calculator
off
Place
a
small
screwdriver,
paper
clip,
or
other
instrument
into
the
slot
and
gently
lift
the
battery
cover

Remove
the
discharged
batteries
and
install
new
ones
as
shown
Be
sure
the
+
symbol
on
the
left
battery
is
lacing
down
(towards
the
front
of
the
calculator),
be
sure
that
the
symbol
on
the
right
battery
ts
facing
up
(towards
the
back
of
the
calculator)
Caution
:
Make
sure
that
the
battery
contacts
are
always
placed
below
the
two
batteries

Replace
the
cover
top
edge

and
then
gantty
press
until
the
bottom
ot
the
cover
snaps
into
place
