The time function determines the current calendar time, represented in sec-
onds.
If
the calendar time
is
not
available, the
function
returns -1.
If
timer
is
not
a null pointer, the
function
also assigns the return value to the object
that
timer
points to.

Note:
The time function
is
target-system specific, so you must
