The
hard
disk
is
ready
to
accept
data.

DOS
system

reside
on
the
hard
disk
the
computer
can
now
be
started

Floppy
Disk
Drives
Three
types
floppy
disk
drives
are
available
as
options
with
the
2000
Series
AT
computers.
The
1.2M
byte
high
capacity
drive
stores
data
on
5.25-
inch
high
capacity
diskettes.
The
360K
data
on
diskettes.
byte
drive
is
a
double
sided
drive
and
stores
5-1/4
inch
double
sided,
double
density
The
720K
byte
drive
is
designed
£or
3.5-inch
diskettes
and
requires
DOS
versions
3.2
or
greater.
This
drive
is
compatible
with
the
International
Business
Machines
Laptop
computer.

Compatibility
Guidelines
Floppy
diskette
and
disk
drive
capacities
must
be
compatible
or
reading
and
writing
data
can
be
distorted
and,
in
some
cases,
not
possible.
Diskettes
can
either
be
single
sided,
double
sided,
or
high
capacity
and
each
has
a
different
st9rage
capability:
