4. MAINTENANCE
4.1 Fuses

4.2 Fan Filters
It is recommended that the £an £ilter be cleaned at
least once every 6 months, depending on the computer
work environment. I£ the work area is very dusty, the
£an £ilter should be cleaned more o£ten, as needed.
4.2.1 2001 Computer Filter
1. Power-down the computer.

2. At the back o£ the computer, gently pry o££ the
plastic £rame that holds the £ilter screens in
place. Notice that the three screen components
are aligned as £ollows:
Outer screen - vertical corrugated
Middle screen - horizontal corrugated
Inner screen - vertical corrugated
3. Remove the £ilter screens £or cleaning in a mild
soap and water solution.
CAUTION
Make
sure that the £ilter screens are
thoroughly dry be£ore they are rein-
serted in place.
4. Reinsert the £ilter screens in order (vertical,
horizontal, vertical>.
5. Snap the £ilter £rame back in place to secure the
£ilter screens.

1. Power-down the computer.
