8. Placing material and start of sewing
Press the knee lifter. The cylinder bed will make a swing motion to the bottom and create a gap between the foot and the bed.
Insert material into the gap in such way that the material’s rolled edge was placed along the edge guide of the foot.
When the material is in the correct position, release the knee lifter. Slowly run the machine and focus on observing the
material running through the edge guide.
Insert material, as shown on Figure 14-1.
