DRAWING UP THE BOBBIN THREAD
ADJUSTING THE THREAD TENSION
1. Raise the presser foot and hold the needle thread by hand.
2. Turn the hand wheel slowly towards you, until the needle goes down and
continue turning the balance wheel until the take-up lever is at its highest
position.
3. Lightly draw up the needle thread forming a loop of the bobbin thread.
4. Pull both threads out under the presser foot about 15 cm.
The thread tension must be properly balanced. If adjustment is required, it can be
made by changing the upper thread tension.
1. Correct thread tension.
Upper and bobbin threads should interlock in the middle of fabric.
