SEWING ZIPPERS
APPLIQUE
Choose straight stitch “A”.
Stitch lenght around 1,5-4.
Upper thread tension 4-6.
Use special foot for sewing zippers.
Foot must be always on the fabric, near to zipper teeth.
Pin or baste zipper tape to fabric and place it under the foot.
Stitch should be made very close to the zipper.
After you nisz one side, turn zipper to the other side.
Make sure that needle is from zipper side.
Choose one of the zigzag stitch (pomiędzy C,D,E).
Stitch length should be: 0,5-1.
Therad tension should be 1-4.
1. Baste on the fabric applique which needs to be sew on.
2. Sew along the edge of the applique. Align the straight part of
the stitch with the edge of the applique to give this project a
handmade appearance.
3. When pivoting corners, lower the needle in the right side of the stitch. Raise
