Needle is hitting the presser

Select correct foot and

Machine runs
with diculty
Dirt or lint accumulated in the
hook race and feed dog.
Remove the needle plate and
bobbin case and clean the
hook race and feed dog.
Machine will not
run
Cord not plugged into
electrical outlet.
Insert plug fully into outlet.
Power switch is not turned on. Turn on the switch.
Bobbin winder spindle is
pushed to the
right.
Push spindle to the left.
4. Presser foot is not lowered. Lower the foot.
5. Buttonhole sewing mode
* Buttonhole lever is not
lowered completely.
* Buttonhole foot is not
attached.
* Lower the buttonhole lever.
