cleanersothepart,ortheareaoftheparttobetreated,hasawaterbreakfreesurfaceas
requiredbyMIL-DTL-5541.
(2)Allpartsthatarechemicalconversionlmcoatedmusthavepaintappliedexceptontheengine
mountingange,cylindermountingange,andtheareaofthehubsocketwheretheshimcarrier
contactsthehub.
CAUTION:Paintorprimerisnotallowedontheenginemountingange,
cylindermountingange,andtheareaofthehubsocketwhere
theanti-bladeshakeshimcontactsthehub.Thisisa4.135inch
(105.0mm)diametercirclemeasuredfromthecenterofallblade
sockets.Paintandprimerarenotallowedinsideofhubsocketon
threadlesspropellers.
