NOTE:McCauleyrequiresthatallbladesbepainted.Paintandprimerprotectbladesfromerosion
andultravioletradiation.McCauleyrecommendsSherwin-Williamsproducts,butanyindustry
equivalentisacceptable.Thefollowingprocedureisrecommendedtorepairortouch-upthe
propellerpaint,butanyprocedureachievingsimilarresultsisacceptable.
NOTE:Repaintingtheentirepropellerbladeorthepropellerassemblyshouldonlybeaccomplished
atanFAAapprovedPart145PropellerRepairStationorinternationalequivalent.Without
thepropertrainingandequipment,thestaticbalanceofthepropellercanbeaffectedbythe
applicationofpaint.
NOTE:Thepropellerfacesideshouldbepaintedatblackunlessotherwisenoted.
