Before Installation
After removing packing, make sure that the gas appliance and accessories are not damaged. In
case of doubt, do not install the appliance. Contact Towngas Company for replacement.
Keep all the packing (e.g. plastic bags, cardboard, staples) away from children to avoid danger.
Do not store any flammable materials, sprays or pressurized containers inside the cabinet below
the gas appliance.
Install the gas appliance in a well ventilated room.
Place the gas appliance on a stable and level bench top. Please refer to below figure for cut-out
dimensions and position.
The gas appliance should have a distance of more than 150mm away from surrounding
combustible materials.
If another apparatus (e.g. dishwasher, washer) is installed under the gas appliance, keep a
clearance of at least 10mm from the bottom of the gas appliance. If the installation instruction of
the apparatus underneath requires a different distance, adopt the larger value.
If an air-flow generating apparatus (such as built-in oven, clothes dryer) is installed under the gas
appliance, a partition must be added and sealed with silicone gel. This prevents air-flow affecting
the gas appliance operation.
Reserve a distance of not less than 650mm above the appliance. If range-hood is installed above
and requires different distance, adopt the larger value.
