Trouble Shooting Tips
CONDITION AND CAUSE CORRECTION
Vac Motor Won’t Run
1. Canister not plugged into outlet ................................................... Plug canister into working outlet
2. Defective vacuum switch .............................................................. *Replace vacuum switch
3. Loose terminal connections .......................................................... *Check ALL terminal connections
4. Defective vac motor ...................................................................... *Replace vac motor
5. Household fuse/breaker tripped .................................................... Replace fuse/reset breaker
Loss of Vacuum
1. Clogged motorized power nozzle neck .......................................... Remove wand and clean out neck
2. Clogged foam (black) secondary filter ........................................... Rinse and replace secondary foam filter
3. Clogged disposable electrostatic AF filter (white) .......................... Replace with new filter
Wand Won’t Release from Handle
1. Dirt and lint stuck in joints .......................................................... Spray some lubricant in joints
Motorized Power Nozzle Won’t Pick Up Properly
1. Worn belt ..................................................................................... Replace belt and clean brush roll
2. Worn brush roll ............................................................................ Replace with new brush roll
3. Brush roll slipping or not turning ................................................. Replace belt and clean lint from brush roll (see page 13)
4. Foreign matter clogged in neck of motorized power nozzle ........... Clean foreign matter from neck
Motorized Dry Vacuum Head Motor Not Running
1. Improper cord connections ........................................................... Make sure both cord ends are plugged in
2. Defective dry vacuum head motor ................................................ *Replace motor
3. Vac hose not properly hooked up .................................................. Check cord hookup at powerhead and canister ends
