If you install the unit on a frame, please install a waterproof plate within 150 mm of the underside of the unit
in order to prevent the invasion of water from the lower direction.

When using the application in the heating mode, ice may accumulate. During defrosting, the condensed water must be drained off
safely. Follow the instructions below, to make the heat pump work satisfactory. Make a 400mm space between the bottom of the
outdoor unit and the ground for installation (100mm in average and warm climate zones). It is recommended to use the stand
available for order from Thermia, sold separately as an accessory.

If the product is installed in a region of heavy snow, allow enough separation distance between the product and the ground.

When installing the product, make sure that the rack is not placed under the drain hole.
▪
Ensure that the drained water runs off correctly and safely.

Selection of a location in windy areas
To prevent exposure to wind, install the unit with its air intake facing the wall. The outdoor unit should be installed in consideration to
the direction of strong winds. The side of the unit should be set to face the wind, not the front of the unit.
