5.5 Media+
The Media+ menu consists of following submenus: Media Player, Record Manager, Removable
Disk Information, Record Settings, Safely remove storage device and Disk Format.
1. Press MENU to enter main menu. Select “Media+” and press OK to enter Media+ menu.
2. Press
p/q to highlight desired menu and press OK to enter.
3. Press EXIT/SORTIE to exit.
Use the three button rows on the bottom of RCU for player operation. A description for the use
of these buttons will be displayed on screen.
5.5.1 Media Player
This function allows you to play MPEG-1, MPEG-2, audio and photo files from a connected
storage device.
1. In Media+ menu, select Media Player and press OK to enter Media Player menu.
2. Use
p/q to select a desired item, and press OK or 1 to start playback.
3. Press EXIT/SORTIE to exit.
5.5.2 Record Manager
This menu allows you to playback earlier recorded files.
1. In Media+ menu, select Record Manager and press OK to enter Record Manager menu.
2. Use
p/q to select the desired recording and press OK to start playback.
3. Press EXIT/SORTIE to exit.
During playback, it is possible to perform the following actions:
YELLOW (2): to pause the playback.
65 for fast forward or fast rewind during playback (2x,4x,8x)
GREEN ("): press once to perform slow motion, every further press will change
the slow motion speed (1/2, 1/4, 1/8).
RED (3) to stop playback function.
When the playback info banner is shown on screen (activated by pressing
or BLUE), the
following actions are possible:
Use numeric button 1 to set a bookmark during the playback. Press it again to delete it. You
can also use the
t/u buttons to select the position.
Use numeric button 2 to jump between the bookmarks.
Use numeric button 3 to jump forwards in time. The length of the jump can be adjusted in
Record Settings. See chapter 5.5.4 Record Settings under Steps to (min:), for details.
To directly access your recordings from viewing mode press the LIST button on the remote
control.
Use
p/q to select a desired recording and press OK to start playback.
5.5.3 Removable Disk Information
In this menu you can view information about the connected USB storage device.
1. In Media+ menu, select Removable Disk Information and press OK to enter this menu.
2. Press EXIT/SORTIE to exit.
5.5.4 Record Settings
This menu allows you to set the time for Timeshift, define Record Type, set Standby Mode and
Record Recovery.
1. In Media+ menu, select Record Settings and press OK to enter this menu.
2. Use
p/q to select a desired item and use t/u to change settings.
3. Press EXIT/SORTIE to exit.
Timeshift Time(min): Maximum shifted time 10/20/30/40/50/60 minutes.
