Record Type: TS/PS (TS mode will record all broadcasted data, including
subtitles)
Standby Mode: ON/ OFF (If set to On, the receiver will go to standby mode when a
timed recording has ended.)
Record Recovery: ON/ OFF (If set to On, the receiver will continue to record after a
power cut.)
Step to (min): 0.5 / 1 / 3 / 5 / 10 minutes. Defines the jump interval during the
playback of a record.
5.5.5 Safely Remove Storage Device
In Media+ menu, select Safely Remove Storage Device and press OK to safely remove the
USB device. A message will then be displayed.
5.5.6 Disk Format
1. In Media+ menu, select Disk Format and press OK to enter this menu. The receiver will ask
to input the password (default:0000).
The receiver displays the current Device and Partition. Furthermore the available Capability in
GB is shown.
2. In FileSystem The USB device can be formatted in FAT file system.
WARNING:
Formatting will permanently delete all data on your storage device !!
Press EXIT/SORTIE to get back to Media+ menu.
5.6 Time shift and Recording functions
Please connect a USB device to the USB port of your receiver. Wait a few seconds after the
sign for connected device is shown on screen. Now you are ready to start Time shift or to
record a broadcasted programme.
Time shift
Time shift function allows you to watch a programme in time shifted mode.
Press 2 in viewing mode. Now you can use
t/u to move the cursor to the desired point in
time. Press OK to confirm. In case the info banner is not shown, press the
button to call it up/
show it again.
Time shift and Record
To perform this action, press 4 followed by the YELLOW or 2 button.
Stop Time shift
To stop Time shift, press EXIT/SORTIE or
p/q. A confirmation window will appear. Select
Yes to stop Time shift or select No to continue Time shift.
Record
There are 3 different ways to record programmes: Instant recording, recording from EPG and
recording via timer
Instant recording
Press 4 in viewing mode to start an instant recording of the current channel.
To adjust the record duration, press 4 again. Insert the time with the numeric buttons and press
OK to confirm. Then press EXIT/SORTIE to remove the message from the screen. Press RED
(3) to stop recording.
