Attaching the steam cap gaskets
When the steam cap gasket, etc. comes o,
carefully set the gasket in place as shown in the
gure. Otherwise, the gasket may come o or
steam may leak out of the rice cooker, resulting in
malfunction.
Note
● Be sure to use the rice cooker with all gaskets in
place.
Otherwise, steam may leak out and rice may not
be cooked properly.
● Do not detach the O-ring.
If it comes o, attach it as it was.
● If the gaskets are hard to attach, moisten it with
water for smooth attachment.

Cleaning
The following procedure should be performed each time after cooking, or if odors become bothersome.
(1)
Add water up to the “MAX” line of the
inner pot and set it in the rice cooker.

the “Clean care” menu.

disconnect the power plug and the
appliance plug.

When the rice cooker has cooled down,
drain the hot water remaining in the
inner pot and clean the parts.
Note
● Be careful with the inner pot and rice cooker as
they are hot after cleaning. Touching them may
cause burns.
● When cleaning continuously, be sure to let the
rice cooker cool down. Cleaning may not be
completed properly as the rice cooker becomes
hot.
Tips
● If odors become bothersome, use citric acid
(approximately 20 g) added to the water for more
eective deodorizing.
It may be impossible to remove some odors
completely. In this case, contact the place of
purchase.
