Why won't the lid close on my Tiger JPC-W10W?

  If the lid of your Tiger Rice Cooker doesn't close or opens during cooking, it might be due to grains of rice stuck on the upper casing, inner lid gasket, or around the hook catch. Make sure to completely remove all remaining rice. Also, ensure the inner lid is correctly set in place. Note that the inner lid of a pressure rice cooker is highly airtight, so the lid may be slightly hard to close; this is normal. Close the lid slowly.

  If your Tiger Rice Cooker beeps 2 times (short beeps) when the [Timer•??] key is pressed and the Timer function (Soak Timer) cannot be set, try the following: press the [Start•??] key to set the Timer function; set the current time before setting the Timer function; or note that the Timer function may not be available under the current menu you have selected.

  If reheating is disabled on your Tiger Rice Cooker, it may be because the rice is too cold; rice below approximately 55°C cannot be reheated. Alternatively, hold down the [Keep Warm•?? ??] key and check that the Keep Warm lamp lights up, then press the [Start•??] key again.

Second, if the outer surface of the inner pot is wet, wipe it with a dry cloth. Condensation may also form on the liquid crystal display due to temperature differences; repeated use can improve this.
