4. Select the Security tab and then Internet.
5. Click on Default level.
6. Click on OK to confirm.
7. Close the browser window and open a new one later to access the IP camera.
Change ActiveX controls and plug-ins settings
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Select Tools in the menu bar.
3. Select Internet options.
4. Select the Security tab and then Internet.
5. Click on Custom level. The Security Settings window will appear.
6. Set the following items under ActiveX controls and plug-ins to Prompt or Enable. Note that
items may vary depending on the Internet Explorer version.
• Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt
• Allow Scriptlets
• Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls
• Binary and script behaviors
• Display video and animation on a webpage that does not use external media player
• Download signed ActiveX controls
• Download unsigned ActiveX controls
• Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
• Only allow approved domains to use ActiveX without prompt
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
• Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting*
7. Click on OK.
A dialog window will ask you to confirm the changes.
8. Click on Yes.
9. Click on OK to close the Internet Options window.
10. Close the browser window and open a new one later to access the camera.
