Also, make sure the air vent on the fuel tank is open. Clean or replace any clogged fuel filter, vapor separator, or fuel pump. If the fuel pump is malfunctioning, it should be repaired or replaced. Verify that you are using the recommended engine oil and the correct type of gasoline. Lastly, inspect and clean the high pressure fuel pump if it shows low performance or clogging.
