CounterTop Version
In the CounterTop version, there is only one battery in the Palm PDA which
automatically charges when the scanner is connected to the AC wall adapter.
However, since this version requires external power, this battery charge status only
matters if the unit has not been powered for several weeks. See not below.
The Scanner Ready LEDs should turn
Green when powered AND the RED
Lighting bolt should display in the battery
icon at the top of the screen. The PDA
may power on without external power but
the Magnetic/Bar Code scanner requires
External power.
IF THE PALM HANDHELD’S BATTERY IS
FULLY DEPLETED, THE MAIN SCREEN
WILL NOT TURN ON FOR ABOUT FIVE
MINUTES. Wait 5 minutes, press the on
button and if screen does not turn on, try
soft reset procedure (described in this
manual).
