c) Power cable/mains voltage
• The product is built according to protection class I. It must be powered by a standard earthed mains
socket.
• The mains socket that you use to connect the power cable must be easily accessible.
• Beforeconnectingtheproduct,makesurethatthemainsvoltageinyourregionmeetsthespecications
on the nameplate. Only connect the product to the mains socket when it is switched off.
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
• Do not touch the mains cable or the 4-in-1 rework station if there are any signs of damage, as this ma
cause a fatal electric shock!
Switch off the mains voltage to the socket containing the power adapter (switch off at the correspond-
ing circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, and then switch off at the corresponding RCD protective
switch).
You can then unplug the mains plug from the mains socket.
• If there are any signs of damage to the 4-in-1 rework station, discontinue use immediately. Take the
entire product to a specialist repair centre or dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly manner.
• Ifthemainscableisdamaged,itmustbereplacedbyanewmainscablewiththesamespecications.
Stop using the damaged mains cable and dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly manner. Do not
attempt to repair the damaged mains cable.
d) Installation location
• The 4-in-1 rework station must only be used in dry, enclosed indoor areas. It must not become damp
or wet. Moisture on the mains cable/power adapter or in the 4-in-1 rework station may cause a fatal
electric shock!
• Avoid direct sunlight, intense heat and cold temperatures. Keep the 4-in-1 rework station away from
dust and dirt.
• Placethe4-in-1reworkstationonastable,even,levelsurfaceofasufcientsize.Protectthe4-in-1
reworkstationagainstvibrations.Neverplacethe4-in-1reworkstationonaammablesurface(e.g.
carpet,tablecloth).Alwaysuseanon-ammable,heatproofsurface.
• Keepthe4-in-1reworkstationawayfromcombustibleorhighlyammablematerials(e.g.curtains).
