Lifting/releasing a component
There is a hole on one side of the vacuum suction lifter handle. Press the rubber suction cap onto the component that
youwanttoliftandcovertheholewithyournger.Thevacuumwilldeformtherubbersuctioncap,enablingyouto
lift the component.
Ifyoutakeyourngeroffthehole,thevacuumcannolongerdeformtherubbersuctioncapandthecomponentwill
be released.
k) Using the desoldering gun
The soldering tip of the desoldering gun has a small hole through which desoldering suction is performed using the
vacuum pump in the 4-in-1 rework station.
Place the soldering tip to the pins of a component, so that it encloses these.
Whenthesolderhasbecomeliquid,pressthengergrip.Thevacuumpumpstartsupandtheliquidsolderwillbe
vacuumed.
The vacuum pump only starts when the desoldering gun has heated to the pre-set temperature.
So that the suction power does not decrease, you must regularly empty the residual solder from the desoldering gun.
Forfurtheruse,the4-in-1reworkstationlterandacleaningwireareenclosed.Forthispurpose,seethe“Mainte-
nance” section.
