2. PRECAUTIONS
Maintenance
Wipe off moisture completely if the instrument gets wet during survey work.
Always clean the instrument before returning it to the case. The lens requires special care. First, dust it off
with the lens brush to remove tiny particles. Then, after providing a little condensation by breathing on the
lens, wipe it with the wiping cloth.
To remove the dust on the case, never use thinner or benzine. Use a clean cloth moistened with neutral
detergent.
When returning the instrument to its case, be sure to match the white positioning marks provided with the
case and place the instrument.
Check the tripod for loose fit and loose screws.
