Checking and Adjusting
There are three areas of performance the user should check periodically.
Horizontal Calibration
Horizontal Rotation Cone
Vertical Calibration
The Horizontal Calibration and Vertical Calibration can be easily checked and, in most cases,
adjustments can be made by the user. Horizontal Rotation Cone can be checked by the user,
if an error is found, adjustments must be made by a Topcon service facility.
Attaching the calibration decals
Before calibration, attach the calibration decals to the instrument as shown below. The cali-
bration decal shows the calibration function of certain control pads on the control panel.
