Entering Cutting Unit Settings
Use the PIN code to enter the following cutting-unit information into the InfoCenter:
• Blade count
• Mow speed
• Height of cut

Preparing the Machine
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower the cutting units, and engage the parking
brake.
2. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving parts to stop.
3. Check the tire air pressure before use.
Note: The tires are overinflated for shipping. Adjust the tire air pressure before
operating the machine.
4. Check the rear-axle lubricant level.
5. Check the hydraulic-fluid level.
6. Grease the machine.
IMPORTANT
Failure to properly grease the machine will result in premature failure of critical parts.
7. Open the hood and check the coolant level.
8. Check the level of the engine-oil level, and close and latch the hood.
Note: The engine ships with oil in the crankcase; however, check the oil level before
and after the engine is first started.
