InstallingtheSide-DischargeChute
Important:Ensurethattherear-dischargeplugisinplacebeforeyourecycletheclippings.
1.Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Removethegrassbagifitisinstalledonthemachine;refertoRemovingtheGrassBag(page17).
3.Inserttherear-dischargeplug(AofFigure21).
4.Removetheside-dischargedeectorbypullinguponthespringthatholdsthedeectorinplaceand
removingthedeector(BandCofFigure21).
5.Installtheside-dischargechutebypullinguponthespring,placingthechuteovertheopening,and
loweringthespringoverthetabsontopofthedischargechute(DandEofFigure21).
