Installthebladesaccordingtothe
instructions.
1.Installtherstbladesothatitishorizontal,along
withallmountinghardwareasshowninFigure
36.
Note:Tightentheboltwithyourngers.
Important:Positionthecurvedendsofthe
bladestopointtowardthemachinehousing.
Besuretonesttheraisedareasoneach
bladedriverwiththerecessesintheheadof
itscorrespondingspindle,andthepinson
theothersideofeachbladedriverwiththe
holesinitscorrespondingblade.
2.Steadyeachbladewithaboardandturnthe
bladeboltclockwisewithatorquewrenchas
showninFigure37;torqueeachbladeboltto
82N∙m(60ft-lb).

thewrenchandtightentheboltsecurely.
Thisboltisverydifculttoovertighten.
3.Rotatetheinstalledblade1/4turnuntilitis
vertical,andinstalltheotherbladeinthesame
mannerastherst(refertostep1).
Note:Thebladesshouldbeperpendicular,
forminganinverted“T”asshowninFigure38.

Changetheblade-drivebeltasneeded.
1.Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostop.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
3.Removethebeltcover(Figure6)byremoving
the4boltsthatholdittothemachinehousing.
Note:Savetheboltsforinstallingthebeltcover
tothemachinehousing.
4.Removeanydebrisfromunderthebeltcover.
5.RemovetheBBCbeltguardandthemounting
hardware.
Note:SavetheBBCbeltguardandhardware
forinstallationlater.
