oftheyear.Inthesummerheat,itisbesttocut
grassatthe51mm(2inch),64mm(2-1/2inch),
or83mm(3inch)cutting-heightsettings.Cutonly
aboutathirdofthegrassbladeatatime.Donot
cutbelowthe51mm(2inch)settingunlessthe
grassissparseoritislatefallwhengrassgrowth
beginstoslowdown.
Whencuttinggrassover15cm(6inches)tall,rst
mowatthehighestcutting-heightsettingandwalk
slower;thenmowagainatalowersettingforthe
bestlawnappearance.Ifthegrassistoolongand
theleavesclumpontopofthelawn,themachine
mayplugandcausetheenginetostall.
Alternatethemowingdirection.Thishelps
dispersetheclippingsoverthelawnforeven
fertilization.
