thenewlterintothelterbody(Figure29).

1.Starttheengineandletitrunforveminutes.This
warmstheoilsoitdrainsbetter.
2.Parkthetractionunitsothatthedrainsideisslightly
lowerthantheoppositesidetoensurethattheoil
drainscompletely.
3.Lowertheloaderarms,chockthewheels,stopthe
engine,andremovethekey.
Componentswillbehotifthetractionunithas
beenrunning.Ifyoutouchhotcomponentsyou
maybeburned.
Allowthetractionunittocoolbeforeperforming
maintenanceortouchingcomponentsunder
thehood.
