RemovingtheCoverPlate
1.Lowerthegrinder,stoptheengine,andremovethe
key.
WARNING
Thereisabeltunderthecoverthatismoving
whenthemachineisrunningandcancatch
ngers,hands,loosehair,andclothing,causing
seriousinjury,amputation,ordeath.
Alwaysstoptheengineandwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeremovingthecover.
2.Loosentheboltattherearofthecoverplate.
3.Loosenthethreeboltssecuringthecoverplatetothe
framesequentiallyuntilthecoverisfree(
Figure26).

1.Lowerthegrinder,stoptheengine,andremovethe

2.Slidethecoverplateintoplaceandsecureitwiththe
threeboltsyouloosenedpreviously(

RemovingtheBottomShield
1.Lowerthegrinder,stoptheengine,andremovethe
key.
2.Loosenthetwoboltssecuringthebottomshield
sequentiallyuntiltheshieldisfree(Figure27).
