arestriction;dirtanddebriscouldentertheengineand

whentherestrictedair-cleanerlightcomeson.
Note:Donotreplaceanoldaircleanerelementwithan
elementthatismorethan5yearsold;checkthedateof
manufactureontheendcapoftheelement.
Note:Everytimeyouservicetheaircleanersystem,ensure
thatallhoseconnectionsandangesareairtight.Replace
alldamagedparts.

air-intakepipingforwear,damage,and
loosefasteners.
Every250hours—Checktheair-intakepipingfor
wear,damage,andloosefasteners.
Inspecttheair-intakepipingforwear,damage,andloose
clamps(Figure74).
