13.Carefullylowerthefrontaxleandremovetheaxlefromthemachine.
InstallingtheFrontAxle
1.Positionthefrontaxletothemachineframeandsupporttheaxleinplace.
2.Placetheaxleshimsinthelocationthatyounotedduringdisassembly.
Installthe4bolts(item17inFigure212),4atwashers,and4locknutsthat
securetheaxlemountingpadstotheframe.Leavethefastenerslooseto
allowalignmentofhydraulicmotor.
3.Connectthebrakecable(item3inFigure213)tothebrakeleveroneach
brake.Securethebrakecablestotheaxlebracketswiththejamnuts.
IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingthehydraulicmotor,ensurethatthehydraulicmotor
driveshaftalignmentischeckedandadjustedifnecessary.
4.Installthehydraulicmotortothemachine;refertoInstallingtheFrontAxle
DriveMotor(page5–108).
5.Installthe2frontwheelstothefrontaxle;refertoInstallingtheWheel(page
