RemovingthePTODriveshaft
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck(orimplement),
shutofftheengine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
2.DisconnecttheendyokeofthePTOdriveshaft(item3inFigure290)from
thePTOshaftasfollows:
A.Straightenthecotterpinandremovethecotterpinfromtheendyoke
andPTOshaft.
B.Loosenthe2boltsand2locknuts.
C.SlidethedriveshaftendyokefromthePTOshaft.
3.DisconnecttheendyokeofthePTOdriveshaftfromthecuttingdeckgearbox
shaftasfollows:
A.Removetherollpinfromtheendyokeandgearboxshaft.
B.Loosenthe2boltsand2locknuts.
C.Slidethedriveshaftendyokefromthegearboxshaft.
4.RemovethePTOdriveshaftfromthemachine.

thecuttingdeck(orimplement)isoperated.
