DisassemblingthePTOShaftAssembly
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,shutoffthe
engine,settheparkingbrakeandremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.RemovethePTOshaftassemblyfromthemachine;refertoRemovingthe
PTOShaftAssembly(page8–23).
3.Removethebolt(15)andwasher(16)thatsecuresthepulley(6)tothePTO
shaft(3).Useapullerandremovethepulley(6)fromthePTOshaft(3).
4.Locateandretrievetheshaftkey(5).
5.Removethenut(13),washer(14)andbolt(7)thatsecuresthepulley(12)
tothebelttensionlever(8).Separatethepulleyassemblyfromthebelt
tensionlever.
6.Removetheretainingring(10)thatsecuresthebearing(11)tothepulley
(12).Useapresstoremovethebushing(9)andbearing(11)fromthepulley
(12).Discardthebearing(11).
