1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheneutral-lockedposition,
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Disconnectthenegativebatterycable(black)fromthe
negative(-)batteryterminal(Figure47).
4.Slidetheredterminalbootoffthepositive(red)battery
terminal,andremovethepositive(+)batterycable
(Figure47).
5.Removethewingnutsecuringthebatteryclamp
(Figure47).
6.Removetheclamp(Figure47).
