RemovingtheBlades
Replacethebladesiftheyhitasolidobject,areout
ofbalance,orarebent.Forbestperformanceand
continuedsafetyconformanceofthemachine,use
genuineTororeplacementblades.Replacement
bladesmadebyothermanufacturersmayresultin
non-conformancewithsafetystandards.
1.Holdthebladeendusingaragorthicklypadded
glove.
2.Removethebladebolt,curvedwasher,and
bladefromthespindleshaft(Figure48).

ft-lb).
LevelingtheMowerDeck
Checktoensurethatthemowerdeckislevelanytime
youinstallthemowerorwhenyouseeanunevencut
onyourlawn.
Checkthemowerdeckforbentbladespriorto
leveling;removeandreplaceanybentblades;refer
totheCheckingforBentBlades(page36)before
continuing.
Levelthemowerdeckside-to-siderst,thenadjust
thefronttorearslope.
Requirements:
Themachinemustbeonalevelsurface.
Allthetiresmustbeproperlyinated;referto
CheckingtheTirePressure(page35).
LevelingfromSidetoSide
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceand
disengagetheblade-controlswitch.
2.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisengaged,shut
offtheengine,removethekeyfromthekey
switch,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Settheheight-of-cutlevertomiddleposition.
4.Carefullyrotatethebladessothattheyareall
sidetoside(Figure51).
