Cleaning
WashingtheUndersideofthe
Mower
ServiceInterval:Aftereachuse—Cleanthemowerhousing.
Washtheundersideofthemoweraftereachusetoprevent
grassbuildupforimprovedmulchactionandclipping
dispersal.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethe
blade-controlswitch.
2.Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardtothe
NEUTRAL-LOCKposition,shutofftheengine,remove
thekey,andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbefore
leavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Attachthehosecouplingtotheendofthemower
washouttting,andturnthewateronhigh(Figure71).
Note:Spreadpetroleumjellyonthewashouttting
O-ringtomakethecouplingslideoneasierandprotect
theO-ring.
