Motion-ControlLevers
Usethemotion-controlleverstodrivethemachineforward
andreverse,andtoturneitherdirection.
Neutral-LockPosition
UsetheNEUTRAL-LOCKpositionwiththesafety-interlock
systemtoengageandtodeterminetheNEUTRALposition.
Fuel-ShutoffValve
Closethefuel-shutoffvalve(undertheseat)when
transportingorstoringthemower.
High-OilTemperatureIndicatorLight
Thisisthemalfunction-indicatorlightfoundontheleftside
(Figure5).
Iftheengine-oiltemperaturerisesabovethesafelevel,the
lightilluminates,theengineautomaticallyreducestherpm,
andthemachineremainsinasafemodeuntilthecorrective
actionistaken;refertoTroubleshooting(page70).
Low-OilPressureIndicatorLight
Thisisthemiddlemalfunction-indicatorlight(Figure5).
Iftheengine-oilpressuredropsbelowasafelevel,thislight
illuminates,theengineautomaticallyreducestherpm,andthe
machineremainsinasafemodeuntilthecorrectiveactionis
taken;refertoTroubleshooting(page70).
ElectronicControlUnitMalfunction
IndicatorLight
Theelectroniccontrolunit(ECU)continuouslymonitorsthe
operationoftheEFIsystem.
Ifaproblemorfaultwithinthesystemisdetected,the
malfunctionindicatorlight(MIL)illuminates.
TheMIListheredlightlocatedintherightconsolepanel.
OncetheMILilluminates,makeinitialtroubleshooting
checks.RefertotheMILsectionunderTroubleshooting
(page70).
Ifthesechecksdonotcorrecttheproblem,furtherdiagnosis
andservicingbyanAuthorizedServiceDealerisnecessary.
